Lisbon - Portas do Sol

Before the big earthquake of 1755, there was a long wall that crossed the city. Within the wall, several doors ensured the entrance to the inner city. In this place, stand the Door of the Sun ("Portas do Sol"), name that was kept even after the earthquake.

These days, it's one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Lisbon.
